We’re Morrisons, a local institution in Nelson.
We’re looking for fun and energetic people to join our team.
We want to give people a great experience, have lots of fun, provide awesome service, and produce sensational food and drink.
What we’re looking for:
You must be FUN, willing to have and fun, and able to create a fun environment.
You have a great personality, are great with people, and are genuine & friendly.
You remember names, orders, and the preferences of regulars.
You know our menu, specials, and dietary options.
You naturally make recommendations, and are confident to up-sell our great products.
You’re organised. You can plan a roster and use Excel.
You think ahead. You’re looking at what we need to reorder for front of house, such as beverages, tableware, & cleaning supplies.
Ability to make coffee a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
You can pull a pint and make a decent cocktail. Ability to make a great cocktail a plus.
You MUST have a current Manager’s License, or be capable of getting one within 2-4 weeks.
You’re looking for a long term, full time role, and understand weekends & public holidays are compulsory.
We run a 7-day roster.
We’re open 7:30 AM – 3 PM now
Evenings and nights are coming in the near future.
You’re OK with all this.
You have 3 years plus experience.
You can handle opening and closing procedures.
You can demonstrate great initiative.
You must have references.
We prefer all-rounders who are willing to do whatever needs to be done.
You’re a hospitality person. You know somewhere along the line, you may have to clear a toilet. if you’re really good, you’ll know when and how to delegate that one.
We have immediate starts for right people.
Pay range $21-25 p/h all inclusive, depending on experience.
