Nelsonians come together with Socially NZ to mobilise our community to do good. Support local charities and attend Styled By, a fashion event with a charitable twist.
Local stylist and well-known blogger Sonya Leusink Sladen will curate a second-hand runway show featuring winter looks… the models? Well-known Nelsonians such as Matt Lawrey (Nelson City councillor), Andrew Board (Director of Nelson Weekly, Nelson App), Amy Cunningham (Benjamin Black Goldsmiths), Ali Boswijk (Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive) and more!
This fashion show will drive our community to shop the hordes of good finds to be had locally for their winter wardrobes!
Supporting local charities is so important – and we can all do better by donating and shopping with them.
Of course, no outfit would be complete without the finishing touches – which will all be sourced from our local retailers – because we love to shop local too!
The fun won’t stop at the fashion show either – as soon as our looks have been devoured on the runway, the Boathouse becomes a pop-up boutique. Browse the racks of our curated clothing and the runway looks. Make a purchase for a good cause.
