It's a local success story that has overcome some tough times…
Date: 24 Sep – 6 Oct
Location: Nelson Suter Art Society (208 Bridge Street, Nelson)
A new collection of paintings by Georgina Hoby Scutt based on the Nelson Queens Gardens and surrounding landscapes.
A local tale of light skies and deep green canopies. This body of work is inspired by the beautiful, heritage Nelson Queens Gardens; a wonderful array of deep greens, dripping foliage, water reflections and secret pathways. Large and small paintings exploring the landscape; loosely figurative, lightly abstracted.
Exhibition opening Tuesday 24th September from 5.30pm, everyone is welcome.
