Grade A standard of local Brass for the Parade !

Having won 3 national competitions in 4 years, The Nelson City Brass band has recently been promoted to ‘A grade’ after taking 1st place in the ‘B grade’ at this years National Brass band championship.

Nelson City Brass recently celebrated their 160th anniversary making them one of the countries longest running! 

The band regularly hold concerts around Nelson with their annual Christmas concert, festive Brass, in the Cathedral on Saturday 7th December.
