Nelson will soon have new Pay-By-Plate meters, which will allow people to pay for parking using payWave or the PayMyPark app, as well as coins.
If you are looking to download the PayMyPark app now for a sneak preview, please note that Nelson won’t show up as an option until the day that new meters will start working: 29 June. You can still set up an account and save your registration numbers so you are ready to go once we go live.
The new meters don’t use paper tickets, so they are zero waste and app users can top up their park within time limits without returning to their car.
