New Stallholders Add Variety
The Nelson Farmers Market is delighted to welcome Viavio Cheese, Kakariki Olives and Kiwi Kai as new stallholders.
Viavio Cheese and Kakariki Olives have teamed up and share a stall site. Between them they are multiple award winners, Viavio for their Italian style cheese and Kakariki Olives for their olive oil. Viavio have a range of hard and soft cheese as well as yoghurt, ricotta and mascarpone. Kakariki Olives offer their extra virgin olive oil in a range of sizes or fill your own.
Kiwi Kai prepare and produce nourishing kai with a strong emphasis on indigenous fusion and seafood. At the Market they are offering such delicacies as mussel or whitebait patties, oyster shots, award winning seafood pies, or raw fish ceviche. New to their brand is Atutahi, refreshing drinks made with native flora known such a kumarahou, kawakawa and horopito.
The Farmers Market continues to offer a wide selection of winter fruit and vegetables. Very popular at the moment are the citrus varieties such as mandarins, as well as apples and pears.
The range of winter vegetables are perfect for roasting or soups.
