Requirements:
Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen whilst ensuring the profitable running of the department
Preparation of menu items & following/creating recipes, quality control.
Ensure business and safety standards are followed
Stock management, ordering and maintenance
The ideal person will have:
Experience in a busy cafe/restaurant kitchen
Experience in a Sous or Head Chef role
Experience in staff management
Proven understanding of costings and budgets
Can identify with the menu style and has an ability to design seasonal menu changes and cost items
Team player with a good personality, plenty of enthusiasm and initiative.
