Meet Dean – the owner of The Flooring Room Nelson.
Dean has significant pedigree in flooring – with over 16 years in the industry. Dean started out in Operations, and has subsequently worked across both Sales and Management. Dean is the proud owner of our amazing new showroom in Nelson. Although a relative newcomer to Nelson (Dean has only lived here for 17 years), Dean is passionate about the region and all it has to offer. He lives just up the hill with his wife Heather and two boys. Dean is keen on his sports, mountain biking, and all the Nelson region has to offer.

Meet Fiona, another one of The Flooring Room Nelson’s talented flooring consultants.
Fee is relatively new to the flooring industry and loves her job because she gets enjoyment from helping people achieve their goals when it comes to their home interiors. As a self-confessed ‘grass roots kind of gal’, Fee will take every opportunity to get out on the ocean in her kayak. When on land, she’s also passionate about walking her dogs (two gorgeous staffies) and watching some good old NZ rugby.
Fee loves Nelson with the ocean right on the doorstep, offering a magic place to enjoy with her husband and teenage son. Fee studied real estate and has a qualification in design, giving her a strong knowledge of the industry and what works in people’s homes. If you’re ever at the Nelson markets you might come across Fee and her various works of art, from crystal soaps and jewellery, to garden ornaments and antique spoons. Meet Karen – a highly experienced Flooring consultant at The Flooring Room Nelson!
Karen is born and bred in Nelson and is the artist on The Flooring Room Nelson team. Karen loves working with colour – and with qualifications in interior décor and flooring, is well placed to offer our customers in depth advice in the home décor. Yes, with 14 years flooring experience, Karen is able to advise on all things flooring, but if you want advice on furniture or art, she’s always willing to offer an opinion! As a Flooring Consultant at The Flooring Room Nelson, Karen loves helping customers to ensure their new floor is complimentary to their renovation or new build. Karen has two grown up children, is a real foodie, and loves costume / clothing design.

Meet Rebecca – one of The Flooring Room Nelson’s highly experienced Flooring Consultants.
Rebecca has been in the flooring industry for 15 years – she knows everything there is to know about flooring! Rebecca started in Admin, then moved into Operations (making sure every job was planned and executed perfectly), and finally took on her role as a Flooring Consultant. Having a BCITO certificate in flooring is the cherry on top. Rebecca prides herself on her attention to detail, and her deep roots in the local Nelson community. As a Flooring Consultant at The Flooring Room Nelson she loves the experience of transforming a customers home with new flooring. In her spare time Rebecca loves reading, travel (she already has her 2021 overseas trip booked!) and time with her family and grandchildren.
