Co.Starters : Mahitahi Colab
The Mahitahi Winter 2020 cohort have just completed their 9-week Co.Starters programme. It has been a pleasure to have facilitated this cohort of ten enterprises alongside Gilbert Robertson from Your Success.
A Co.Starters cohort is a small group of organisations collaborating to resolve their business challenges. The cohort helped each other to inform their financial models and reframe their thinking on their customers needs. All the participants graduated with a clear insight on their next steps in product development, marketing, pricing, revenue and costing.
The Mahitahi Colab is recruiting the next cohort to begin in the second half of October, ending mid-December. The cohort meets once a week for three hours and it is expected the cohort will apply their learnings to their businesses during the course. Whatever stage you are at, concept, start-up, growing an existing business or if you are stuck, a Mahitahi Co.Starters course will get you focussed on your business, help you test your assumptions and turn ideas into action.
CO.STARTERS is the thing we need to push most immediately as ideally, we would drum up another 4 businesses in the next week to join our cohort starting on 20 October.
CO.STARTERS is a 9 session business development programme that equips entrepreneurs with the insights, relationships and tools needed to turn ideas into action, via a facilitator-led, collaborative process with a group of 10-15 like-minded peers. Over nine sessions, participants develop and fine-tune their ideas using the CO.STARTERS Canvas, critically examining every part and determining next steps with real-time feedback from people in the community. Participants leave the program with a deeper understanding of how to create a sustainable venture, articulate their models, and repeat the process.
