Christmas Tree Needed!: Hearing Nelson
Are you upgrading your Christmas display this year? We are keen to offer a bit of Christmas cheer to visitors but, sadly, we don’t have a Christmas tree! Should you find yourself with an artificial tree you no longer need and would like to find a good and grateful home for it, please let me know! Any donations of lights or bell-themed decorations would be most welcome also.
Hearing Nelson is a registered local charity (founded in 1953!) that receives no Government funding, relying instead on grants, donations and membership fees to fund the work we do. We aim to improve the lives of those who are deaf or hard of hearing in our lovely region through one-on-one support and services such as hearing screening tests, hearing aid cleaning, hard of hearing advocacy and public awareness. We also offer flexible education programmes centred on proactively preventing hearing loss for children, youth and adults via talks to school classes, industry and community groups.
Please contact me directly if you can help. I’m happy to call by and collect, or decoration donations can be dropped into Hearing House, 354 Trafalgar Square, 9am – 4pm, Mon – Thurs.
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ring out from the land
Asking peace of all the world
And good will to man
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
