Reverberation: Of Light, Land and Sea: The Suter Art Gallery
We have just opened our new collection-based exhibition, ‘Reverberation: Of Light, Land and Sea.’ This is an exhibition of British and New Zealand abstraction inspired by landscape and the sublimity of light, selected by the Director from The Suter and Koha Trust’s collections.
You can visit it at The Suter – or through our Collection Online! It is now viewable as a collection Highlight – part of our online Collection that allows those outside of Nelson to experience the exhibition at home.
Graham Bennett — Around Every Circle
Graham Bennett – Around Every Circle; “Prominent NZ sculptor Graham Bennett is an explorer of our place and time, traversing issues of culture, history, identity and human impact on the planet”. These themes are traversed in a recently released magnificent Ron Sang publication “Around every circle” that coincides with a survey exhibition “Graham Bennett: Seeking a Balance” at the Christchurch Art Gallery. Join Graham Bennett and Diversion Gallery’s Barbara Speedy, editor of Around Every Circle for an illustrated talk covering a remarkable career.
