Cherries are here! It is an exciting time at the Nelson Farmers Market. Our seasonal stallholders are returning with their wonderful summer fruit and vegetables. Tree Ripe Orchard has a mouthwatering range of cherries and boysenberries, FRUT 4 U Lowes Orchard have their juicy strawberries and Tasty has returned with spray free tomatoes and raspberries.
Koefaga Vanilla has returned to the Market for their season with their luscious range of vanilla extract, paste and beans. The Farmers Market also welcomes Jamu with their Indonesian tonic drink. This tonic is bound to come in handy over the coming weeks!
Just Be Food & Drinks has moved within the Market. She is now located in the middle of the Market beside Saed’s Falafels and opposite Gostoso Brazallain Snacks.
Making a special appearance at the Market this week is Old Road Estate. They are bringing their amazing candied figs. To create these, figs from the family orchard have been handpicked and cooked over 16 hours in a traditional manner to produce a deliciously sweet and chewy morsel. There are two types to choose from – chocolate coated or plan.
