2021 – Its a Makeover Year : Global Soap
Well hello 2021. Hope you all had a lovely break and are feeling as energized as we are. With a new year comes a fresh start and for Global Soap, we’re embarking on a significant brand refresh! Oh yes, after 24 years in business we’re revamping the Global Soap look with a new website, logo and packaging reset. Its been a labour of love over many months and iterations working with local designer Hayley Ottoman from Tizza Design. She’s been very patient with us : )
All our recipes as you know and love them will still be available in ‘naked’ form, as will the bars currently available in a ‘sleeve’, but you will soon have the option to purchase all products with fresh and modern eco-packaging – an excellent option when looking at gifts. Take a sneak peak at our new packaging and logo here where we feature the ever popular Citrus Mint and Lemongrass, Rosemary and Lime bars.
All changes are scheduled for the first week of February – be sure to keep an eye out!
Exploring our Back Yard
To see in 2021, we headed off to Pepin Island, a privately owned working sheep station north-east of Nelson (about 30 mins from Nelson CBD). Private accommodation on the island comprises three solar powered cabin-like huts situated in secluded and private parts of the island. Each hut takes in three stunning perspectives of the farm’s dynamic coastal environment. We stayed in the Passage Hut overlooking the natural peninsulas of Delaware Bay and the Pepin Island spit. If you are looking for a getaway off the grid (no internet or cell reception, solar power, seclusion), we totally rate this getaway location…and Passage Hut has its own outdoor bath! Here are some of our soap favourites seeing in the sunrise amid the spectacular landscape setting from the Passage Hut.
