New Baroque Generation Concert
The next generation of young New Zealand musicians will come together as touring ensemble, to present music by, Vivaldi, Handel, Corelli, Charpantier, and premier of Concerto Grosso by emerging composer Rakuto Kurano. Program include Vivaldi’s Double concerto for Violin and Cello.

Adam Summer School Finale Concerts
The Adam Summer School returns to Nelson in February, showcasing rising young stars of string and piano performance from all around New Zealand. In its 27 year history, the Adam Summer School has seen more than 350 students attending the school, many having gone on to achieve international success on the music stage.
Coached by members of the internationally acclaimed New Zealand String Quartet and guest pianist-in-residence, Richard Mapp, students immerse themselves in eight days of tutoring and masterclasses, finishing the week with two electrifying Finale Concert performances at the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts. You’ll hear music by Brahms, Dvořák, Haydn, Schubert, Strauss and other great composers.
These concerts are always the highlight of the year – show your support for our next generation of musicians, and get set to be ‘wowed’!
