Are you a natural storyteller? After 30 years providing quality, passionate care across the Nelson Tasman community, we have many stories to tell and we’re looking for an experienced communications professional to tell them!
Our vision is “To Care Always” and our Fundraising and Marketing team plays an integral role in this vision, ensuring we continue to generate funds year on year to be able to provide high quality care in our community. As Communications Coordinator, you will be a key part of this team, sharing our stories and vision across all media, social media and digital platforms. Within this small team, you will be involved in the planning and implementation of our fundraising and marketing strategy, identifying new avenues for marketing, and ensuring visibility across all advertising channels and the wider community.
Given the varied nature of our organisation, you will also assist with grant applications, and support our Fundraising and Marketing Manager, Philanthropy Coordinator and dedicated volunteers with event and initiative planning and delivery!
From your communications and marketing experience, you’re adept at pinpointing key messages to strengthen our brand identity and putting faces to our mission from the stories of the Hospice. You will have a grasp on how best to reach all target audiences, ensuring those in the Nelson Tasman region understand our ongoing need for financial support from the community so we can continue “to care always!” A motivated self-starter, you’re results driven with the ability to work autonomously, while you also enjoy being part of a wider, committed and talented team.
