Meet Tharine Roelofse, our new Advisor: WK Strawbridge
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Tharine moved to New Zealand in 2019 and quickly fell in love with Nelson’s sunny days and snow-capped winter mountains.
After graduating with a BA in Human Science and working as a Biokineticist at the Capetown Sport Science Institute, Tharine realised she’d rather help people with their finances than rehabilitation. She then worked as an auditor for 6 years before discovering her passion for accounting.
Tharine is Xero certified and has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, making her a perfect fit for the WK Strawbridge team. She values building strong relationships with her clients to understand how they work on a more personal level.
Outside of the office, you can find Tharine taking advantage of the beautiful landscapes Nelson has to offer. She’s an avid hiker and has a newfound interest in running. Tharine also enjoys exploring her creative side, through painting, reading, and doing puzzles at home with her husband, Jacques, and cat, Sherlock.
