Introducing Our Newest Staff Member: Simplicity Funerals, Nelson

We are very pleased to announce our new Operations Supervisor & Embalmer Richeal Walker. Richeal has been a contractor for Simplicity for the past five years so we are very pleased that she is now part of our team. Here is a little about Richeal:
Richeal is Nelson born and bred, and has raised 2 beautiful children, now adults and is also very proud to be a granny. Richeal is married to Darren and during their spare time, they are enjoying renovating their beautiful villa. As a previous business owner locally for over 10 years, Richeal then joined the funeral industry in 2011. She started her study in 2014 and graduated in 2015 with ‘Top Practical Embalmer Award’ for the year, and continues to be a registered member of NZEA (New Zealand Embalmers Association). Richeal is extremely passionate about the care of the deceased and goes above and beyond to help create the best possible experience for families.
Richeal says, “I feel extremely proud to have been appointed into a position where I am able to care for families loved ones. This is truly a great honour to me.”
