Garden Nelson: Waimarama Community Gardens
We are hosting a Garden Tour to raise much needed funds for the continued development of this lovely facility.
The starting point is outside the Suter Art Gallery on Bridge St where you can uplift your schedule of the 6 gardens on the tour. You can also pay cash and collect your ticket from this point from 10am to 11am on the day. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around some of Nelsons special gardens.
Gardens are open all daylight hours.
Volunteers please come on Wednesday mornings approximately 9.30 – 12.00. all tools provided.
Plots available for a small annual charge, depending on size.
We have a kiosk where you can buy a variety of seedlings raised organically.
