Te Tauihu, Haka-nuia!
Due to the cancellation of Te Mana Kuratahi; Te Tauihu o te Waka a Māui Māori Cultural Council has collaborated with the ākonga of Te Pitau Whakarei at Nelson Intermediate School to curate an exhibition that celebrates some of the region’s history, with the national primary schools’ competitions. The images and narratives are all local and give an insight into the world of kapa haka.
The exhibition is open at Shop 2/126 Trafalgar Street, Nelson from Wednesday 1 December until Wednesday 15 December from 10am to 4pm, every day except Sundays.
