Looking for a unique school holiday programme in Nelson? Our children’s art programmes are inspired by The Suter’s art exhibitions! Our Mina Ardnt Education Room looks out over the Queen’s Gardens and the outdoors Sculpture Walk, which also provides a tranquil backdrop and additional subject matter.
Tuesday 19 April 2022: Create crazy collage: Use a variety of techniques to create your own arty papers to collage an imaginary world
Wednesday 20th April 2022: Explore printmaking: Use Māori designs and printmaking techniques to make traditional Māori patterns
Tuesday 26th April 2022: Delve into dioramas: Create your own miniature 3-D world
Wednesday 27th April 2022: Make mixed media masterpieces: Explore blending, layering and other techniques using pencils, pastels and paints
All workshops: 9am – 12pm
Cost: $35.00 per class (prince includes all materials)
Age: 7-12 years
What to bring: Morning tea and a drink bottle
Maximum 12 students per class
