The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary recently hosted its annual fundraiser breakfast up at the idyllic Beach Glade Classroom Venue, which was sponsored by Rezource. Located 15 minutes from the Visitor Centre and nestled amongst native bush and bird song, 40 lucky event attendees sipped hot coffee and enjoyed a gourmet pre-made breakfast by Gourmet Beachside Catering. The Breakfast served as a unique opportunity for local business supporters to come together, connect with nature and help the Sanctuary in its ongoing work to provide a pest-free paradise right on Nelson’s doorstep. Fortunately, this event was able to go ahead under red alert level restrictions, allowing attendees the opportunity to kick start their day in a wonderful way while giving back to a cause they believe in. The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary hopes to offer another Breakfast fundraiser opportunity in the future alongside a number of other events for the community.
