Sri Lankan Vesak Festival: Multicultural Nelson Tasman
Sri Lankan Vesak Festival will be held this weekend, 14th and 15th of May from 6 pm to 10 pm at Victory Square.
This is a free event and you are warmly welcome to celebrate this festival which commemorates the Birth, enlightenment & Death of Buddha.
There will be a huge rotating lantern on display standing approx 4.5 metres high, made of recycled materials. A free Sri Lankan snack “kokis” and Ceylon tea ☕️ will be served!
