Have you tried anything from The Vegetarian Butcher? She makes a range of vegan ‘meat’. These are designed to cater for vegans, vegetarians but also meat eaters wanting to reduce the amount of meat they eat. I highly recommend these products. Come find out for yourself this Wednesday 10 August at 23 Halifax Street from 8am to 1pm. Samples are available.
Due to extreme staff shortage Don Rodrigo Sourdough baker has to take a month off from attending the Nelson Farmers Market. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience but rest assured they are working hard to get more staff. In the meantime we request you continue to support the Nelson Farmers Market. The stalls currently at the Market need your custom more than ever. Whilst it is impossible to fill the gap from Rodrigos some of our stalls have stepped up. There will be ciabatta bread from The Sausage Press Deli Co, gluten free Brazilian cheese breads at Gostoso, sweet pastries at Sugarmoose, and almond crescents and truffles at Caramandel.
As we near the end of winter our growers are working hard and we look forward to bringing you some fresh Spring produce very soon. Stay tuned for more details.
