Celebrate Pinot Noir Day on 18 August!: Wine Nelson

Celebrate Pinot Noir Day on 18 August!
Not that you need an excuse, Pinot Noir Day on Thursday 18 August is the perfect day to celebrate New Zealand’s leading red export. Here are some tips on how to best enjoy this delicious and versatile grape.
🌡️ For the best New Zealand Pinot Noir experience, aim to pick aged bottles from 2-5 years and serve at 15 degrees Celsius.
🍽️ You can pair Pinot Noir with most foods as it is often light enough to be enjoyed with salmon, but can also hold up to richer meats including duck.
🍷 A large round bell-shaped glass is perfect to serve Pinot, as it collects the delicate aromas of the wine.
