Meet Sophie at Tim’s Garden

Sophie here. Whilst the lovely Hannah is off on maternity leave, I will be one of the office managers here at Tim’s Garden and will also keep you update to date with all the happenings via our social media.

I’ve been part of the business since we started in 2016 as one of the owners & Tim’s other half but have become more involved recently now that our tamariki are a little bigger.
Here’s a bit about me:
The best part about working for Tim’s Garden: Being surrounded by plants and people who love gardening.
Previous work: Primary school teacher and full-time mama.
Favourite plant & edible plant: I love growing edibles and eating them straight from the garden with the kids, especially carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes. I also love to grow flowers for cutting such as sunflowers, protea and dahlia.
Interests/hobbies: Gardening, running, family time, yoga, painting.
Gardening tip: Get your kids involved in the garden – it’s fun, educational and they’ll eat lots of fruit and vege! There’s so much variety to touch, smell, taste, climb and discuss.
If we sound like the sort of team that you’d like to be part of then check out our vacancies page and send us an email.
