“Thanks to the wonderful printing and framing of Luke, Adam and Amy at Nelson City Framers I have realised a dream of seeing some of my diptychs large and long. These works result from occasions where I am confronted with massive land or seascapes and if I use a wide angle lens they fall away from me and Im disappointed so I take 2 images side by side on a standard lens thus pulling the scene in and creating an image closer to what the eye sees. I hope they create the grandeur of Fiordland and the ocean and skies subliminal impact.” – Craig Potton
