OUR NEW NATIVE BEE HAS TAKEN FLIGHT…
An ode to our little and rare native New Zealand bee, this gorgeous necklace made in 9ct solid gold or silver with an A grade freshwater pearl.
Native bees do not have hives or produce honey, but live in nests underground. They play an important role as pollinators of native plants , including manuka, kanuka and pohutukawa.
How is THIS bee different from our original bee necklace?
1) It’s a little smaller (by 6mm)
2) Available in solid 9ct gold instead of gold plate.
3) Has 6 little legs tucked underneath it’s body.
4) Has four wings visable in the design.
5) It’s an ode to our nz native bees but can also represent a honey bee as they look very similar in jewellery form.
