Thrilled to have Te Papa Head of Art, Charlotte Davy: The Suter Art Gallery
We were thrilled to have Te Papa Head of Art, Charlotte Davy, join us at The Suter this morning for a ‘sneak peek’ of Rita Angus New Zealand Modernist, an exhibition for the whole family to enjoy.
“This exhibition will introduce a new generation of New Zealanders to Rita Angus’ work,” she says. “It is remarkable how much power and relevance her paintings still have today.”
Rita Angus: New Zealand Modernist He Ringatoi Hou o Aotearoa opens Saturday 8th October and runs until 4th December.
