For Kay Thomson, the Sanctuary will always be memorable, she kindly shared the following with us.
“22nd Jan 2023… started off like any other day, planning for a hike and then a picnic at the Brook Sanctuary. We walked to the lovely Champagne Pools where we enjoyed our picnic lunch then Nick suggested we take a photo. He set the phone up precariously on the rocks and came over to stand next to me where he then got down on one knee and proposed! The photo was actually a video and of course I said yes!! 6 1/2 yrs of adventures with this man, we can’t wait for many more ❤️ extra special that he chose to propose at the Brook Sanctuary, as it is a place we can come back to and relive the surprise (for Kay), nerves and excitement all over again.”
