Some of Nelson’s finest chefs are coming together to deliver a multi-plate seafood experience on Upper Trafalgar Street.

Join 160 guests under two festival marquees and enjoy cleverly designed and expertly prepared seafood dishes, each featuring one extraordinary seafood variety, paired with complementary Nelson wine tastings.

Tickets include multiple seafood tasting plates, paired with a premium Nelson wine, and access to the pop-up garden bar, exclusive to ticketholders.

From a premium seafood and wine experience to free family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone this Seafood Saturday. How will you celebrate?
Take a seat at the festival table. Join 160 guests under two festival marquees on Upper Trafalgar Street, and sit down to a multi-course seafood and Nelson wine tasting experience. Each tasting plate will feature one sustainable seafood variety, selected at random by one of Nelson’s leading chefs, and prepared into a divine dish for you to enjoy, paired with Nelson wine. All dishes will be gluten-free and dairy-free.
Your seafood degustation and wine tasting ticket will also give you exclusive access to the festival garden bar, where you can buy premium Nelson wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

Or, join us in the FirstMate Community Hub. Upper Trafalgar Street will be alive with festivities, all centred around the celebration of our kaimoana and the kaimahi who deliver it to us, from sea to table. Grab a bite, watch the fish filleting, talk to the fishers and enjoy the activities.
