Meet Jamie at Tim’s Garden

?Meet Jamie?
Jamie is part of our gardening team, has a wealth of knowledge on plants, is a hard-worker and generally just a lovely guy to be around.
Let’s find out a bit more about him…
The best part about working for Tim’s Garden: Being part of an awesome, knowledgeable team and seeing the difference we can make to peoples gardens.
Previous work: I’ve spent roughly 5 years working in a plant nursery before joining the Tim’s Garden team. Prior to that I was doing a bit of vet nursing.
Favourite native plant: Kunzea ‘little fox’. A shrub version of the Kānuka with feathery soft foliage.
Favourite plant & edible plant: My favourite plant is the same as my favourite native plant but I’m also a big fan of variegated plants. My favourite edible plant is the blueberry.
Interests/hobbies: Football, music, camping, games nights with friends, spending time with my partner and our dog.
Gardening tip: It’s easier to spend a little time in the garden more often staying on top of the weeding than it is to catch up once they have spread.
?We are always interested in hearing from gardening and landscaping superstars keen to join the team. If you think you’d be a great fit, please check out our website and drop us a line? www.timsgarden.co.nz/vacancies
