Palazzo Nelson named New Zealand’s overall winner for “Best Motel Under 25 Rooms” at the Hospitality awards for Excellence 2023. Max and Robyn had no idea their small motel in the heart of Nelson had been selected as the overall winner until it was announced at a black tie event in Auckland this week. We felt the other finalists where of such high caliber and for Palazzo to be ranked with them was a privilege. They entered the night with an open positive mind, happy to have been selected as a finalist. The award now taking it’s place in the reception next to last years award for “Motel of the year 2022.
