Uniquely Nelson goes entirely outside the square to support local retail and hospitality sectors in these troubled times.

Uniquely Nelson, an organisation dedicated to promoting the Nelson City Centre, is thrilled to announce the official launch of its new brand and advertising campaign – “We are Uniquely Nelson!” The refreshed brand captures the unique essence of Nelson City and aims to remind all that the Nelson City Centre is a vibrant and exciting destination.

Under the guidance of Uniquely Nelson General Manager, Simon Duffy, this brand campaign represents a significant milestone for both Uniquely Nelson and the Nelson businesses. The campaign’s primary goal is to highlight the diverse offerings of Nelson City, inviting both locals and visitors to experience the exceptional attractions, award-winning cafes and restaurants, art galleries, adventure activities, and an array of retail shopping brands that make Nelson City truly Uniquely Nelson.

Uniquely Nelson aims to target the Nelson Tasman region initially, promoting the Nelson City story to the broader community. By encouraging locals to support local businesses and attracting visitors to experience Nelson City for themselves, Uniquely Nelson seeks to create excitement and inspire a deeper connection to the city.

Uniquely Nelson has collaborated with local creatives to produce captivating videos showcasing their members, offering a glimpse into the incredible experiences and opportunities that Nelson City offers. The videos will be rolled out over the coming weeks.

The Nelson Advantage, a weekly online newspaper that goes to 16,000 subscribers and 900 businesses. Includes business promotions, weather feeds, events, retail, recipes and entertainment videos. Everything bold and wonderful about Nelson City.

Buddy up business – A support network of wellbeing, marketing and financial advice for business owners in the Nelson City Centre. This has now been uplifted by different health boards and other business associations.
