Te Wiki Tiaki Ao Tūroa/ Conservation Week is “Mō te taiao te take/ Take action for nature”: The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary

This year’s theme for Te Wiki Tiaki Ao Tūroa/ Conservation Week is “Mō te taiao te take/ Take action for nature”.
There are many ways that you can be a part of nature conservation, one is to join one of our volunteer teams: Become a Sanctuary Volunteer – Brook Waimārama Sanctuary (brooksanctuary.org.nz)
We also want to give a big shout out to all our volunteers, both past and present – the Sanctuary is a testament to the hard work and dedication of many hundreds of volunteers and thousands of volunteer hours each year. The Sanctuary would not be what it is today with the efforts of our volunteers – thank you.
