Experience “La Dolce Vita” without leaving Nelson! Club Italia and Italian Chamber of Commerce in NZ bring you the Nelson Italian Festival – for the first time taking to the streets of our beautiful town.
Get ready for a day bursting with Italian flavour, music, and culture. Imagine strolling through the streets, basking in the melodies of Italian folk songs and opera, the air filled with the aroma of freshly-made gnocchi, original Neapolitan pizzas, and so much more…
And it’s not just about the food – though we promise, your taste buds will thank you. We’re also featuring an array of live entertainment, and for those looking to sharpen their culinary skills, we’ll have cooking demonstrations with expert tips on crafting the perfect Italian dish.
Families are more than welcome, or as we say in Italy, “benvenuti”!
So mark your calendars – the Nelson Italian Festival is the closest you can get to Italy without hopping on a plane.
The event is organised by Club Italia Nelson with the support of the Nelson City Council.
