This is it – Vito’s last day tomorrow.
On Tuesday he came in to make 80kg of dough, and on Wednesday he came in to make dough balls. He’s worked both the lunch and dinner shifts Thursday and Friday this week, and is working the same two shifts tomorrow. Week in and week out, month in and month out – and year in and year out. A discipline and mindset that will pay dividends in the years to come.
Salvi and Vinnie are driving up from Christchurch to join us, and Eva made 100 Tiramisus for customers to acknowledge this special occasion. Swing by for pizza (or no pizza) Saturday. It’s also our delivery driver Liam’s last shift before he heads to Uni as well. Music gets turned up at 7.30pm.
We did not know the journey our family would take when we set off on this adventure 3 and a half years ago, but it has been an experience that will be with us for our lifetime. Nice work, thank you Vito. Great job.
