Community Activities at Seafood Saturday

Seafood Saturday is just two weeks away and we can confirm all of the tickets to the Chef’s Choice progressive lunch have SOLD OUT! If you or anyone you know wasn’t able to get a spot at one of the sittings, encourage them to come on down to the Gleam at berth F08 of the Nelson marina in the morning and the NZ Fish Federation Community Hub from midday to enjoy all of the wonderful family events and activities on offer – descriptions and timings are online: https://www.seafoodsaturday.nz/community-activities. If you missed your chance to get a ticket to one of the three sittings, there will be heaps of fun and kaimoana to be had throughout the day.

Start by visiting the Gleam at berth F08 at the Nelson Marina in the morning, then come along to the New Zealand Federation of Commercial Fishermen Inc on Upper Trafalgar street for an afternoon of kids activities, filleting demonstrations, fishing-themed exhibits by local artists, a chance to chat all things maritime and – of course – fish burgers, food trucks are more!
