Seafood Saturday on this Saturday (9 March) – Brought To You By Seafood New Zealand

On Saturday 9 March, thanks to Sealord and The Vic Public House we are giving away 150 portions of fish ‘chips for kids at 1pm!
Sealord CEO Doug Paulin says the company is proud to support Seafood Saturday.
“As New Zealand’s largest seafood company, Sealord is happy to play a role in bringing this event back to Nelson and making it as accessible to the community as possible. We’re a company that’s focused on whānau, and Seafood Saturday really speaks to our ethos.”
Arohanui to Sealord and The Vic for making Seafood Saturday possible! Can’t wait to see all our seafood lovers at Upper Trafalgar Street in a week.

Ever wanted to see what a historic fishing vessel was like? This Seafood Saturday is your chance!
On 9 March, the 80-year-old fishing vessel, Gleam, will be moored at berth F08 at the Nelson Marine (just past Ruby’s Espresso) from 8am-12pm and open to the public.
Owned by New Zealand’s oldest fishing family, the Guards, Gleam is retired from active service but continues to give back to the community. This is a special chance to climb aboard and learn more about this historic vessel and how it worked as a fishing boat, feeding the community with tasty kaimoana.
