Cole Cup Chess Tournament: Chess Nelson
Be ready for the biggest Chess Tournament in the Nelson/Tasman region!
We have divided the event into three categories: Junior, Youth, and Open. Participants will have the chance to win a variety of prizes, including having their name engraved on the Cole Cup, medals, online chess subscriptions on Chess.com and Chessable, certificates, and a chess book. The competition will consist of a 6-round Swiss-System, with each round having a time control of 20 minutes per player.

The entry fee is $20 for adults and $15 for students during the Early Bird period until Friday, June 7th. If paid on the day of the event, the cost is $25 for adults and $20 for students. We accept both bank transfers and cash payments. If you opt for the bank transfer option, please be sure to include your name in the reference.
