Last Friday we had a pond and a grassy mound with geese on it. Now the work is well underway for our new Capuchin enclosure.
We kicked off the week with a delivery of poles from Tasman Pine Forests LTD. Treescape New Zealand then came in to help create a bigger space by removing some perimeter shrubs. Now it was time for Donaldson Civil to bring in the digger. The kids have loved having a ‘digger attraction’ at Natureland. Before long the mound was gone, the paddock flattened, and the moat dug out.
We are extremely grateful to all of the businesses that have donated their time and materials to get this project up and going. We are all super excited about the next steps.
