Tasman Bay Textile ResQ Collective was formed in 2023 by a group of local women who have a passion for the environment and creativity.
Textile ResQ is a not-for-profit organisation with its main goal to reduce textile waste. We upcycle clothes and textiles that are not suitable for sale in op-shops with an objective is to save these textiles from going to the landfill.
Textile ResQ partners with Nelson Tasman Hospice op-shops and with the Nelson Environment Centre.
We have over 30 active volunteers who are creative and skilled in mending and upcycling. They are keen to share their skills and inspire others.
