“A Cappella for Winter”
Chroma Chamber Choir is a small Nelson-based choir whose members love choral singing and enjoy offering interesting and challenging music to Nelson music lovers.
Chroma performs a cappella and accompanied works. The crafted programmes in its 15 year life range from Gregorian chant to contemporary, include sacred and secular, and showcase choral pieces from the wealth of the renaissance and baroque choral repertoire, classical and romantic songs, and compositions from the twenty first century.
In this lunchtime concert, Chroma offers a feast of a cappella music for a winter’s day. Diving into Chroma’s library has brought some exquisite favourites into the light. Secular and sacred, these will warm the heart.
