Sonar Flare To Headline NZ Cider Festival 2026
The New Zealand Cider Festival returns to Founders Heritage Park on Saturday 14 November, bringing together the very best of New Zealand cider, live music, local food, and family-friendly entertainment for a day-long celebration in the heart of Whakatū Nelson.
New Zealand band Sonar Flare will headline NZ Cider Festival 2026, bringing a two-hour set of iconic Aotearoa rock, festival favourites and fresh original energy. Sonar Flare is a NZ rock collective featuring members and collaborators connected to Opshop, The Feelers, Zed, Sola Rosa, Synthony, Kaylee Bell and more.
Now entering its 11th year, the festival has firmly established itself as New Zealand’s premier cider event, attracting visitors from across the country to experience the diverse flavours, innovation, and craftsmanship of New Zealand’s thriving cider industry.
Festival Director Shelley Haring says the festival continues to evolve while staying true to its roots.
