Courage…
Greeting dear friends & fellow navigators, & welcome to my world this week. I think one of the quietest forms of courage is saying yes to an idea before anyone else can see what it could become. Is it not? Sometimes the most beautiful things do not begin with certainty. They begin with something so small it almost feels impossible, a thought keeps returning, a dream you cannot quite explain, a sentence you keep rewriting in your mind or a feeling gently asking you to begin.
From the outside, it may look insignificant. But sometimes the smallest beginnings have always carried the greatest possibilities.
We admire forests without thinking about the courage hidden inside a seed. A seed does not know how tall it will grow. It does not know how many storms it will survive or how much shade it will one day offer. It simply begins. Having a faith in heart, quietly & patiently. Just like this, our ideas ask the same of us.
The hardest part is rarely having the idea. The hardest part is believing it deserves our time before it has given us any reason to believe in it. We wait until we feel confident, until everything makes sense, until we know the outcome. But life has never promised certainty before the first step. It only asks whether we are willing to begin.
There will be days when doubt sits beside you, whispering reasons to stay where it is safe & familiar. Fear has a quiet way of convincing you, you are not ready, not capable, not enough yet. It tells you to wait, to hesitate, to hold back but dreams do not grow in stillness. They grow in courage, in movement, in the moments you choose to step forward even while your hands are shaking.
I believe what matters most is not how quickly something grows but how faithfully we keep showing up for it.
You learn more from effort than you ever will from standing still. Progress is born from action, not perfection. There will be times when the road feels long & lonely, when it seems like everyone else is moving faster or finding success more easily. Also, comparison can make you forget your journey is your own. But dreams are not a race they are a relationship between who you are now & who you are growing.
This is why, a tiny seed never promises a forest, it simply asks to be planted. In the same way, our dreams never ask us to know the whole path, they only ask if we are willing to take the first step.
There will always be fear, doubt, & moments when standing still feels safer than trying. But the most beautiful things in life have never belonged to the people who knew exactly how everything would unfold. They belonged to those who gently held onto a quiet idea, cared for it day after day & trusted even the smallest act of courage could become something far greater than they could see. Because all a dream is ever waiting for is someone brave enough to begin.

Just few observations again dear friends & provide an opinion in my world. Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate your being here. If my journey encourages you also, all is well with my soul.
Looking forward to next week; this is Kenn Butler in Paradise, Nelson with best wishes.
Sometimes all a dream needs is one person brave enough to take its very first step.
Every meaningful thing in this world began because someone chose to begin before they knew how it would unfold.
