Have fewer pieces, but choose quality, because true craftsmanship will outlive you: Jewel Beetle

Most heart lockets you find for sale today are stamped out of thin-gauge metal and mass produced. They’re cheap to buy, but they simply don’t last. You can dent them just by pressing between your fingers and once they’re damaged, there’s very little a jeweller can do to repair them because the metal is too thin to work with.
Our customer was deeply attached to their original locket because it held precious photos of a loved one. So we remade the entire piece, as close as possible to the original. Lockets are one of the most time-consuming pieces of jewellery to create. The hinge, the locking mechanism, the internal frame take time.
The original mass-produced locket weighed 3.7g.
The handmade replacement weighs 8.7g — more than twice the weight.
This one won’t dent in your fingers. It’s built to last, and because it’s made properly, it can be repaired and cherished for generations to come.
Know what you’re buying. Life is too short to wear mass-produced jewellery.
Have fewer pieces, but choose quality, because true craftsmanship will outlive you, and become part of your family’s story.
