The Te Tauihu Accessibility Expo is back on Sunday 13 September — here’s what you can expect!

Following a fantastic inaugural year that welcomed more than 500 people, the Te Tauihu Accessibility Expo returns on Sunday 13 September, from 10am–3pm at the Trafalgar Centre, Nelson — and this year it’s set to be even bigger!

This free community event is dedicated to people of all abilities, their whānau, friends and supporters. Whether you’re looking for information and services, opportunities to connect, or simply a fun and welcoming day out, there’s something for everyone.

Here’s a taste of what’s happening:

🟢 40+ stalls featuring health, disability support, education, sport and recreation, advocacy, mobility and equipment providers from across the region

🎤 A full speaker programme covering topics such as navigating support systems, the social model of disability, and ways we can improve accessibility in our communities

🎶 Live entertainment and activities, including wheelchair basketball, interactive activities, crafts and more

🎁 Prize draws throughout the day

Come along to learn, connect and celebrate our diverse community. Everyone is welcome!
