Welcoming Yen as our newest Mentoring Coordinator: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nelson-Tasman
We’re excited to welcome Yen as our newest Mentoring Coordinator.
Originally from Malaysia, Yen has called Nelson home for 7 years. He brings a passion for empowering young people, with experience in youth community support and teaching Judo. Yen is looking forward to supporting our Bigs, Littles and whānau across the region.
And it looks like he’s already getting stuck into the local community! 🍔 You might recognise him from the Shared Communities Pop-Up Multicultural Market, or from the epic burger challenge at our wonderful supporter, Culture Burger Joint, in partnership with Miki D’s Gym.
We’re thrilled to have you on board, Yen!
