Meet Amy Martin! Amy joined the WK Strawbridge team as a director in 2020, making the move from WK Blenheim to sunny Nelson ☀️
Amy has a real passion for helping people reach their business goals focusing on both advisory and accounting through strategic planning and finance function reviews.
Amy spends most of her spare time working on their 16-hectare livestock block in Rai Valley and enjoying the Marlborough Sounds. Find out more about Amy.
Amy joined WK in Blenheim in 2018 and was made director of WK Strawbridge in 2020.
With a passion for helping people reach their business goals, she works closely with a range of clients in a business advisory and general accounting capacity.
Amy has vast experience in tax accounting, compliance and financial advisory as well as general advisory work such as strategic planning and finance function reviews.
After studying at Victoria University of Wellington, Amy gained her Chartered Accountancy qualification while working at PWC before moving to the Rai Valley in 2015 and working as an associate director at a Nelson accounting firm, before joining WK in 2018.
Amy and her family chose the Rai Valley for the lifestyle it offers, allowing her to continue working as a chartered accountant and business advisor, while also having land to enjoy and easy access to the Marlborough Sounds.
Amy spends most of her spare time working on their 16-hectare livestock block and utilising her expertise in a voluntary role of treasurer of the Marlborough Parents Centre.
