The Hospitality Awards for Excellence celebrate exceptional hospitality businesses. Enter your business for a chance to boost your brand and gain industry recognition.
The Hospitality Awards for Excellence 2021 is open to all Hospitality and Accommodation operators in New Zealand.
Now in its 24th year, Hospitality New Zealand hosts the prestigious national Hospitality Awards for Excellence annually to celebrate the successes and achievements of the hospitality industry across New Zealand. Each year, Hospitality New Zealand recognises businesses in the accommodation and food and beverage sectors for their hard work, and for their commitment to excellence in their field.
Winners will be announced at the Hospitality Awards for Excellence 2021 Black Tie Dinner to take place in Auckland on 9 September 2021, as part of the
Hospitality New Zealand Summit (September 7-9).
Application to enter the awards is FREE for Hospitality New Zealand members.
For non members wishing to enter the awards, a $230.00 Inl. GST application fee applies to each category application.

GUIDELINES FOR ENTERING THE AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE 2021
Entry into the Awards is by self-nomination.
By submitting your application to enter the Awards for Excellence 2021, you agree to allowing Hospitality New Zealand to use the information and images you provide for judging and marketing purposes, including but not limited to, at the Awards dinner itself.
If the judges believe you have entered the wrong category, they reserve the right to move you to a more appropriate category. You will be notified if this occurs.
You must answer all of the questions included in the application.
Your answer to each question should be no more than 200 words.
Your application needs to include external evidence to support your entry. For example, customer testimonials, video, imagery and KPIs and other supporting facts.
With your application, include a selection of photos (no more than 10) that you believe best represent and showcase your venue.
You can submit your application by using the forms provided below. If you wish to use a different format to submit your entry, you must still make sure that your entry answers all of the questions listed below, and meets all of the entry criteria detailed here.
Email your completed application form to awards@hospitality.org.nz. Hospitality New Zealand cannot accept applications via post or fax.
Entry to the Awards closes on 20 June 2021. Hospitality New Zealand cannot accept entries after this date.
Winners will be announced at the formal/black tie Awards for Excellence Dinner, held during our Hospitality Summit in Auckland this September.
A Supreme overall winner will also be announced, along with the winner of the People’s Choice Award.
