New in the Hursthouse Barnicoat Contemplation Gallery:
Hannah Beehre: Pillars
This luminous work is currently on display in the Hursthouse Barnicoat Contemplation Gallery. Pillars is based on a Hubble image of the Pillars of Creation, enormous plumes of cosmic gas and dust 5 light-years (47 trillion kilometers) tall, located in the Eagle Nebula some 7000 light-years from Earth.
